Airports
We recommend flying into Harford, CT (BDL) or Boston, MA (Logan). Hartford is closer and easier to navigate, however Boston may have cheaper flights.

Transportation
Outside of major cities, there isn’t any public transportation (not even taxis or Uber), so renting a car is advisable. You can pick up your rental car at either airports.
Even though the distances between towns looks small on the map, the majority of roads will be back roads (some unpaved) so it is wise to check timing on Google Maps.

Putney, VT is pretty small. There won’t be many hotel options in town. We recommend looking at hotels in Brattleboro, VT as there will be more options. Our favorites are:
